    Recipe Ingredients

  • Nirapara rice flour - 2 cup
  • Onion finely chopped - 1 cup
  • Capsicum finely chopped- ½ tsp
  • Tomato finely chopped- ½ cup
  • Green chillies - 2 - 3
  • Nirapara coconut oil- as needed
  • Salt- as needed

    Method Of Preparation

  • Step 1

    Firstly, in a large bowl take onion, tomato, chilli, and ½ tsp salt. mix well making sure everything is well combined. Also, heat the griddle and pour a ladleful of nirapara rice flour batter , that has been kept aside after adding enough water and salt.

  • Step 2

    Spread out in a circular motion slightly thicker than regular masala dosa. Now spread the toppings on top of the uthappa evenly. After the topping has been added press gently so the toppings are pressed into the batter.

  • Step 3

    Add 1 tsp of oil around the uthappa. cover it and let it cook for 1-2 minutes in low flame.

  • Step 4

    Flip over on the other side once the uthappa turns golden brown. Finally, uttapam is ready to be served with chutney of your choice.
